Malik irfan has Fourteen years sailing experience worked onboard Cape Size, Panamax / Handy size Bulk Carriers, Aframax tankers and General cargo ships. During sailing tenure had also dry docking experience of General Cargo vessel, Cape size/ Panamax size Bulk carriers and Aframax tanker.

Working with Alkoun Al Alamiya Co. as a Marine Surveyor since September 2012. Following jobs are performed on regular basis; Draft Survey, On Hire / Off Hire Condition & Bunker Surveys, Port Captaincy , Loading / Discharging supervision, Discharge monitoring of project cargo, Pre Purchase Condition surveys of Bulk Carrier and Tanker, Surveys pertaining to Marine Claims on behalf of P & I Clubs, Cargo damage claims on behalf of cargo underwriters, Cargo Hold inspection prior loading of bulk cargoes.

Worked for Shell Shipping UK as deck officer, including command of LNG ships from 1996 till 2014.

Captain Zafar has over 18 years of onboard command experience for leading international shipping companies, including general cargo and bulk carrier vessels. Captain Zafar has also worked as a consultant at the Karachi Port Trust on ship construction, hull design and machine installation.

Since joining Alkoun Al Alamiya Co., Capt Zafar has been involved in inspections, surveys and insurance claims adjustments, covering Marine and non-Marine claims.

Captain Javed has over 19 years of onboard command experience for leading international shipping companies, including general cargo and tanker vessels.

Since joining Alkoun Al Alamiya Co., Capt Javed has been involved in inspections, surveys and insurance claims adjustments, covering Marine and non-Marine claims.

14 years wide range of experience within Sailing, International Transport and Logistics industry, Marine Surveyor & Trading with work exposure across diverse cultures in several countries.

Specific experience in Middle East, Far East Asia & India Subcontinent.

Vast experience of Chartering, Vessel operator, Containers Manufacturer/repair, Feeder Vessel operator. Marine surveyor with all categories.

As a Marine Consultant, Worked on behalf of the QATAR PETROLIUM, QSTEEL,QCHEM, instrumental in reducing huge financial loss per shipment. Loading / discharging supervision, quantity survey of Petroleum products, STEEL PRODUCTS.

Inspection of containers for various line standard for pre-shipment, post shipment, leasing and repair.

Consultancy for our clients on Charter Party disputes, Bill of Lading clauses including legal aspect of Marine and non-marine claims. Advise on intricacy of lay time calculation under different terns & condition of Charter Parties to numbers of clients.
